Jonathan Ortiz Roman is a designer and artist from Caguas, Puerto Rico. Although he never formally studied design, Ortiz began his creative career through illustration and graphic design work at marketing agencies while pursuing a degree in Psychology. After dropping out of law school, he ultimately decided to follow his passion for the arts and transition fully into design.

In 2019, Ortiz moved to Chicago to continue growing his design career, where he found renewed inspiration through baseball — a connection to home and Puerto Rican culture.

His work blends graphic design, visual arts, and storytelling rooted in the legacy and influence of Puerto Rican baseball players, combining cultural identity, sports, and contemporary design into a distinct visual language.
